Damaged Feathers

Hey there, I have another potential problem? I think this is caused by stress or molting but I also want to make sure I'm not missing anything.

1) What type of bird , age and weight (does the chicken seem or feel lighter or thinner than the others.)

I have Link, who is about 18 months old at this point. She is a red sexlink hen. Eating, pooping, etc. have all been fine until now.

2) What is the behavior, exactly.

Yesterday I noticed some feathers looked damaged and were missing on part of her wing. Picture is below. Now, on to possible causes:

3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms?

Just noticed the damage yesterday and got a good look at it today.

4) Are other birds exhibiting the same symptoms?

No, I checked their wings.

5) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma.

The feathers on one wing appear to be missing and others are damaged.

6) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation.

a. I noticed that one of the Easter Eggers I have (about six months younger) has been bullying her recently. Ie, last night the sexlink was chased out of the coop and had to wait for everyone else to get settled before she could go back in. I've seen her getting pecked at by this egger, too. Could this be because of bullying?

b. I am pretty sure one of the local feral cats took a swipe at them because there was a big ruckus outside and everyone stopped laying for a couple days.

c. I have never had chickens before so I don't know if this is normal (molting, stress) or abnormal. If it's mites or something I'd like to get to it before the other birds start getting damaged.

7) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all.

No changes to feed- Kalambach 17% pellets. . They've gotten some mealworms and I gave them some vegetables the other day in addition to their regular stuff.

8) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc.

Normal

9) What has been the treatment you have administered so far?

Nothing yet, although I will probably be cleaning the coop and run.

10 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet?

I want to know if I should be worried about this damage. I didn't see any pests when I looked her over and like I said for 6, I think this might be stress related or molting but I'm not sure.

11) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it. It may help.

12) Describe the housing/bedding in use

Standard pine flake.

Do you have a rooster?

How much space do you have in your coop/run (sq ft of each)?
How many birds?

Damage on top of the wings like that is usually due to being mounted. Even if you don't have a rooster, observe your flock to see if another hen is mounting her as a show of dominance.

A few photos of all of her would be nice too.

Interesting. I did not know that damage like that could be due to being mounted. I no longer have a rooster because I only have 4 hens. He has been rehomed and she was his favorite to go after. Maybe the damage was always there and I just didn't notice. But I will watch the other hens more closely as well.

Their coop is on the small side, which is why I got eggers since they are smaller than the sex links. I originally had 3 birds but one got got and I read somewhere that 4 is the smallest flock size advised.

The damage may have been initially from the rooster and she's might be beginning to molt so you'd notice bare spots.
I'd keep watch to see if one of the others is mounting her though. Sometimes in tight spaces, hens can get a bit cranky and pick at one another.
The broken feathers won't be replaced until molt, so hopefully she'll replace those this fall.
