So we are processing our very first round of meat birds with a few families that have done this before. 2 of our birds were pecked pretty badly while we were out running errands. I have them secluded from the flock so they can heal. My question is, can I process and use these birds as safe to eat or will their meat have issues with taste and/or texture? I was also thinking I could use them to make dog food as well.

One is damaged closer to the rump but she has been recuperating for about 10 days now. The one we have in the tub has been recuperating for 5 days now and it was in the upper back close to where the neck joins the body
