Is there any type of outdoor plant/grass/flower that is dangerous for chickens? I'm talking "grow in the wild" type plants, not potted or grown by human type plants.
For instance, we have wild honeysuckle growing at the edge of our property, and I picked a few handfuls and gave it to them yesterday. They loved it! And then today I started worrying that perhaps there are wild plants that might harm them. (And I would never give them anything with pesticides, poison, or car emissions on it.)

What say ye?

Thank you. I don't know what any of these look like, so I guess I won't be giving them anything that I'm not certain what it is.

The book I have (Free Range Chicken Gardens) lists honeysuckle as poisonous. But it doesnt specify between the flowers and leaves.
Some others commonly found in gardens are daffodils, hydrangea and tulips.

Thank you all. Guess honeysuckle is out. I hope it didn't hurt them; they seem to be ok.

Ive read that horse nettle is dangerous for humans is it not dangerous for chickens?
