I guess I didn't get the coop fully latched last night (at least a predator didn't notice) . The flock is out today so I have to keep an eye on them all day. I tried to lure them in with treats...they didn't go for it. They have plenty of room to explore in front, behind, and on the right side of the house. I just don't want them heading off to the left side. I'm not concerned about daytime predators...they're just as safe all day as they are for their normal 1-2 hours. Anyway, lesson learned...add to the latching system.
AND
I cant get the chicken saddles right. One girl has hers flopped up like it was blowin' in the wind, another has hers flipped upside down, and another got hers off.
