Hi all,
I have 2 five week old lavender Orpingtons and I noticed one of them has some dark/bruised looking areas on her comb as of late. Does anyone have any experience with this or know what might be causing it and if it’s something to be concerned about? I have 10 chicks together (4 that are 7 weeks and 6 that are 5 weeks) and they all generally get along just fine but it does seem the lavenders are on the lower end of the pecking order. I have attached some photos of her comb and of the other LO for comparison. The last 3 pics are of the other LO.
Also, is it common for LO wattles to come in pretty quickly? They definitely have larger wattles than my other chicks. Even the cockerel.
Thank you in advance!
