Dark Brahma rooster x speckles sussex hen. Color genetics help.

Has any one done this cross that has pictures of the offspring as adults? Or can someone tell me if there should be an early difference in the colors of the babies? Have a friend that has chicks from this cross. They are old enough that they are getting their big feathers. And at this point they all look pretty much the same.

I have crossed a dark Brahma cockerel over a Sussex light hen and the chicks came out as white for female and buff/brown for male.
