I didn't know that, I figured with the close feathers they wouldn't take cold very well - not having the 'fluff" to trap and hold the body heat. Where we live cold is in the upper 20's - the teens make front page news.

. Our birds use more suntan oil than anything.

How do your birds do in the heat.? I live in South Ga.its hot and humid in the summer. Can your birds fly and stay away from predators.? Do you still sell eggs? If so how much?

It doesnt look like Steve is still active.

I have DC in a very hot dry area, they are doing as well as my other birds, they can get up a roost and over a 3 foot fence, but they cant get up into a tree.
