Both ankles are swollen and hard. Been like this for over two months. She is ok standing on the one foot, but not the other. No sores or open wounds on the bottom of her feet. Any ideas what this is or what may have caused it or what I can do besides put her out of her misery? Jumping off high perch? Not likely since when it happened; there were no high perches. I thought a goat stepped on her one foot, but since now both are affected, not likely either.

Wow, no wonder I received no replies.....so very many people post on here in a day. Mine gets lost! Well, hope someone may have a good answer.

I do hope someone knows as one of my girls has a swollen ankle it just started she is walking on it fine but looks nasty I've necked her over too an she has mo cuts scratches or anything

Could her joints be inflamed? Perhaps try looking up the doses of baby asprin you could give to her?
She is a cornish, and I heard that they have a bunch of leg problems, so she could have a bit of something going on with her joints?
