dark stripes on face - turn into what?

[TLWR]

Our local feed store had easter egger chicks. Some of the chipmunk ones have a lot of black stripes on their face.
Any body have an idea of how this feathers in? I just went through like 90 pages of easter egger pics from chick to adult and didn't really see anybody that looked like these guys.

That looks like a Sicilian buttercup, so maybe similar.
