Darkest marans

In your experience what breeder offers the darkest egg laying blue marans? I don't care if they're French or not my only stipulation is I don't want to pay $40 for a day old pullet and offering sex chicks is a big plus

I hear you on the 40 bucks-it's a lot. I have Wheaton Marans and FBCM but no blues. But I'm looking for reasonably priced blue copper marans also. So I'm tagging along to see if anyone knows. If nothing comes up, I'll order from Mt Healthy, they're $20 each and sexed. I know I could still get a male but it's better than ordering straight run and getting 50/50. Good luck
