Darn It , Looks to be first egg eatin today ......

...... But the only thing is , is that the egg i think was eatin , well the shell and everything was there . But the shell was really jelly like and i think they might have just stepped on . What does that tell me ?

That is normal. It was what is commonly called a "fart" egg. Pardon the term. The plumbing in the hen hasn't gotten in rhythm yet and the egg didn't for the shell properly. No big deal. I would remove the egg as soon as you can. If you don't, the chickens will get courios and start pecking it. It don't take long for them to get a taste for eggs.

Dont worry about it sometimes I find a broken egg that is totally gone except the whites that are left over in the nest. just a broke one that got stepped on an eaten. If you think you have an egg eater roll a fresh egg out in front of the bunch in the yard and the culprit will show itself most of the time going after the egg.
