Daughter's hen at fair for week others forgot it, hurting it!UPDATE p2

I would let feathers fly and a single of blood drop of pin feather blood fall, but more than one drop and then step in to "help". But I doubt it will get that far if they are about the same size. Trying to blend in a bird who is immature with immature birds or a bird who is elderly proper chicken manners.

Good luck!

It looks like Milly's going to be okay. She's definitely being hounded a bit, but so far no injuries. Hopefully by the next day or so the other girls will stop giving her a good peck every time she walks by.

Thanks to you all for your help! BYC members are the best.

Great job at re introducing her. I just wanted to give you another tip that I use. I find that the chickens do less peeking and picking if they are full or eating. I always try to introduce in the evening or at night. And I deffinately try to do it when I can suppervise. WELL, just wanted to give you some help if I could. Great job again~ Tacey
