So, I've candled this egg on Day 1, is his how it should look like? :D

You shouldn't see anything until around day 3-4... I don't see an air cell in the pictures though. Is there an air pocket? If not, then I would toss the egg. It's no longer viable :/

Awh man! I saw some YT videos, the yolk was also quite pronounced, should I keep it until Day 4 and see any further updates? Its also Day 1, so I don't think the air pocket has formed yet!

It seems this may be your first time candling. Do not do anything dramatic until at least Day 5. I generally wait until lockdown to remove any, but I only do chicken or turkey eggs. I don't know how many perfectly good eggs have been tossed because of U-tube or something someone read on the internet. Use this as an opportunity to learn what you should be looking for so you know from experience.

A lot of the information you read on the internet is accurate but not everything is. Don't forget, this forum is on the internet.

I commented on your other post and I’m only seeing this one now. It’s very difficult to see anything in a quail egg early in incubation- it’s hard with chicken eggs this early on too but even harder with quail. I would wait till day 7 you may have a better idea then

Alright! Thanks!
