day 16 and egg is cracked??

I have a batch of eggs due for lockdown on friday and I went to turn them at noon today and one of them is cracked open....what is going on? Is it a dud that burst or what?

Probably a dud, smell it that should tell you!!!

doesn't stink at all....should I just discard it? I left it in there for now.

Listen close...is there any sound coming from the egg? I was just reading thru posts & several people mentioned eggs hatching anywhere from a couple days early to a whole week early.

Hey, start a hot shower so the bathroom is humid. Just in case it is hatching. Candle it to see if there is any movement. Good luck Hope it is ok.
