This cutie pat-too-tie hatched this morning at about 6am.. day 17... needless to say.. all alone.. all other eggs just waiting. I have 18 eggs total in the bator.
Should I get this little one over to the brooder tomorrow (24hrs), even though all alone? Or just hang tight for another 24hrs? I just feel over 24 is long already since little one all fluffed.
(And yes, when eggs I hatched in bator and I have to open.. the outside air should be that close to internal incubator air... like in a hot humid bathroom)... suggestions??

I'd move the little one to the warm brooder now.
The quicker he gets food and water the better.

I wouldn't think twice about opening the bator to move him either.
I spoke too soon.. another one just hatched.. and now getting pecked at!! Ugh!!! Now what do I do??? Will it hurt the other baby???

Move the big one.
Moved that little bugger!! Kept pecking incessantly at the new hatch!! So now in the bator the new one is “chirp chirp chirp”... the one I put in the brooder.. never made a peep.. just followed my hand to water and food and now resting under plate

They like to eat the egg junk off of each other :pop. I was concerned with it at first, but mine weren't hurting each other, so I just let em be.

I figured so too... but when it kept pecking at its face.. it was just too much for me.. the poor thing was just trying to catch it’s breath from busting out it’s egg
It may have been wrong but went with my gut and just moved the pest that I have now named raptor
Poor little one now in the bator alone hoping around but has only been like 4 hours so I guess it will have to wait until tomorrow to go to brooder
