I have 9 eggs in the incubator and today is day 18. I unplugged the automatic egg rotator thing. Do I remove the thing that holds all the eggs and place the egss now on the metal screen or am I just supposed to leave them in the egg holder thing?

I hope I am explaining myself right. I am a newbie to this. I did hatch 2 silkie eggs about 3 weeks ago, but I was not sure what to do then and I removed the egg holder/rotator and placed those 2 eggs on the screen. They turned out ok but I just wanted to make sure I am supposed to that this time.

Yes, that is the best way to do it as leaving the turners in can cause leg injuries to new hatchlings. On the screen is much better.

I just removed the turner and placed the eggs on the screen. OMG this is so exciting! All 9 eggs are rocking back and forth! I can't wait for them to come out now!
