Day 19 :)

Im on day 19 at 12 (in 24 minutes) and I cant wait for them to hatch! I have 22 silkie eggs, when did you start to see movement or start hearing peeping? I am sitting on my hands now, Im so excited

Usually mine start peeping towards the end of day 19 & then pip on day 20. The first time you hear them peeping or see them rocking the egg is so exciting

This was my first time hatching eggs and I just about died waiting to hear one peep or see an egg move. I didnt get either until day 21, which was yesterday and they are still going! I was so excited, I didnt even sleep lastnight, lol. It all started yesterday at 10 am and so far I have 5 hatched, 2 zipping and a whole bunch that pipped. Those 21 days have felt like a year! Good luck with your chickies and dont get discouraged right away if you dont hear or see anything in these next couple of days.
