i would get one at a small home-improvement or garden store if possible.

i despise walmart and their schemes to put family businesses out of business so they can dominate the retail industry. i'm only 24, and i've already seen the negative effects walmarts in RI have had on the immediate surrounding communities. i've seen 5 be built in the past 10 years, and the majority of businesses around them have crumbled since... :\\

You do need a humidity guage...I got mine for about $8.00 at Walmart...go get you one, put it in the bator then keep the bator closed!!! It's sooo tempting to get the chicks out, but I have learned the hard way to leave it shut..especially if it is a still air incubator!!

Yeah I just hatched out for the second time and I didnt use a humidity gauge this time. Everything turned out alright but it definetly helps to have one

lol. sorry.. i just hate walmart... and have watched too many of them ruin communities/watched too many documentaries about them ruining communities and then moving away because they aren't making any more profit because the community's been ruined to have faith in it at all....

small businesses really don't exist in RI anymore. all of the ones that are here, are new. and are bound to go out of business within the next two years... :\\ so, i make it a point to shop at them as much as possible. because.... well... keeping money in your community is a good idea in general if you want to keep your job. and i hate the idea of my hard earned local moolah going to any old unconcerned heir multi-billionaire. /end rant!

that being said, i got my humidity gauge at home depot (since the mom and pop hardware stores are all gone here). it shows the temp too, highs and lows for the whole day which is awesome. it was 10$. i am happy with it.
