Day 20 today on my first hatch. Should there be a pip today?

When is it normal to start to hear/see something? I thought my eggs looked viable throughout the candling process (veining, etc.) but then I read on here yesterday about seeing movement. I don't think I did or didn't look long enough to notice. Now I'm worried none of good and my kids will be big-time disappointed. They keep asking me, Today? Today? Thought I'd come here and ask the experts! Thanks!

you should see pips and hear peeps and see eggs moving. once they pip through the shell it could take hours to actually hatch.

Welcome to the frazzeled feeling of hatching! I am sure your hatch is doing great! I am on my second hatch ! It is exciting and nerve racking! I believe you will see signs any time now!Just tell the kids when they are ready they will be here! Or to stare at the bator and it will keep them busy?

I wish you a great hatch! Good Luck!

Thanks! I hope you're right! I do know the eggs we're getting more full as we went through the process so I'm hoping that's a good sign. And none smell. I guess it's just time to wait. Good thing I'm having carpet installed today in our brand new basement remodel and am stuck in the house all day with them. Gives me an excuse to keep walking by the bator.

Thanks, Melinda! I keep looking at them and nothing. My incubator is supposed to be idiot-proof (RCom Suro 20). Maybe I'm the idiot it missed. I think I haven't screwed anything up but what you don't know, you don't know! Still hoping!
