Day 21 and no Peeps

No Peeps no rocking. Yesterday I saw two eggs rocking, but nothing Today. Is my first time incubating eggs.

Question is, can I candle to see if they are still alive?

What day is this for them? I'm assuming Day 20 or 21?

I wouldn't open the incubator up if it's around their hatching time.

So it is day 22, but I am already counting one day less because I started with day 1 instead of 0.

So technically today's the day then.

I never see mine rock and I've hatched over 500 this year so far. Mine are all silkies so must make a difference when they're smaller, but really no idea. I don't watch them for it though either so if they do, I might be missing it.

Ignore them and they'll hatch quicker.

They are silkies too, and some are polish. Do you hear them peeping pior to?

I hear peeping a lot, but it was usually after they pipped (broke through.)

Would like to post an update, we had only 2 chicks hatch out of 9. It happened on day 23. I don't really know what went wrong. We opened the eggs yesterday and they were all formed in there, but were dead.

The two that made are so cute, one silkie and one polish.
