I've been hatching for over 30 years. I dry hatch. I keep humidity around 30% and only bump up to 40% at hatching time. Or I use a different incubator for hatching. I have them in one at 30% and when I see they pipped thru the shell I move them to the hatching incubator set at 40% They all hatch just fine and all wet.
