Day 22 - take chicks out of brooder with others pipped?

I'm hatching some Mille Fleur eggs. One hatched on Sunday-Monday before 4 AM, and 2 more have hatched since then. I still have 5 in the incubator, one of which pipped yesterday AM. The older 2 in the incubator are pecking at everything as though they are hungry (including eachother). I don't want to open the bator yet because the other eggs are still in the works. Can I safely remove the chicks, and then quickly raise the humidity back up with some warm/hot water? Thanks!

You can take them out if they are dry and fluffed up, but try to be quick so you don't lose too much humidity.

Ditto above. You might put a sponge or cloth that is soaked in warm water into the incubator as you take the dry chicks out. that will help with the humidity if you think you are going to loose too much in the move.

I have a wet rag under the hardware cloth now, which I set up before lockdown. I'm using a LG foam bator and I'm having a hard time getting and keeping the humidity much above 60% - it keeps wanting to drop back to 57-60%. I've got the holes plugged, and I've taped the opening where the cord for the turner would go out. I wrapped the back half of the bator with a blanket after the chicks kicked some of the eggs around and the wound up out back there along the back - I was concerned it might be cooler and dryer there.

2 of the chicks are dry and fluffy, and the 3rd hatched overnight last night, so maybe I should wait until the 3rd is dryer, or just take out the 2 fluffy/hungry ones?

Sorry, you have probably already worked this out, but I don't think it would "hurt" the wet chick as long as you don't have the bator open for an extended length. How did your hatch go? How many did you get?
