Day 22

I am new to incubating, I have kept my temp at 99.5 and humidity between 50-60%, lockdown at day 18, and increased the humidity to 65%. Today is day 22 and I haven’t even noticed movement. I don’t want to open it and chance losing them all! Any advice? Please help! I am extremely anxious!

Have you candled them? They might not be firtilized or they could be duds. I have heard of eggs hatching last day 22

Yes I candled them at day 8 and 18 they were all moving

Also, did you count the day they were set as day 1?
I believe that the standard is to count that day as day 0, so that could be the issue

You've gone too far to turn back, so I wouldn't worry. It sounds like you did the best you can, so if they don't hatch, you can try again with no regret. Some chicks take until day 26 to hatch in extreme cases, so you have a bit to go yet.

Sounds like you've kept the temp and humidity right where it should be! Glad to hear that they were alive at day 18. Did the temperature drop at all? sometimes that can delay the hatch.
