Day 24 or 25

I candled my duck eggs one last time before lockdown and it looked like they had started to internally pipped. I’m not sure this is my first time these are shipped eggs that’s why the air sac looks so wonky but can anyone tell me if this looks like a internal pip?

First one is definitely an internal pip. Second one looks like the start of one. You can also hold the eggs up to your ear, tap on them gently, and if they are internally pipped, you may be able to hear the duckling tap or chirp back. Good luck with your hatch

Welcome to BYC!! Sounds like @KathiQuacks has some hope! I incubate shipped eggs a lot (as we speak too) and it's a crap shoot for sure, but fun when they really do hatch!

Thank yall so much for the help put them into lock down they have been rocking around like crazy! I can definitely see tiny beaks! I put it to my ear n no peeping sounds but a faint tapping for a few seconds. So I’m going to leave it alone now! How long after they pip internally does it take them to externally pip?

How long after they pip internally does it take them to externally pip?

Around 24 - 36 hours to externally pip, so I’d expect for you to see an external pip later tonight / tomorrow morning.

After that, it’ll be an additional 24 - 48 hours for them to zip and hatch completely.
