Hi! I am on day 29 and there is no movement, no pipping. I'm very worried that it may have died in the shell. My partner says that he may not have died as he still has hope, however, There is a lot of darkness around the little guy and the veins are not very clear to see and the air sac I'm not so sure if he's just getting into position to get ready to hatch and it's very hard to tell if he is even alive. Should I poke a hole in the air sac? My partner and my dad are advising me not to but I am extremely worried. Please Help!!

Can you post pictures of the egg?
What type of incubator? Forced air or still air? What are the temperatures and humidity you've been running, and are you sure of the readings? Did you calibrate? how frequently does it get turned and how?

Hi. Talk a deep breath. It might be hard to see it move if it’s fully grown. your incubator might have gotten a bit cold and so they hatch later. I cant be certin tho. What do the other eggs look like? Do you have any pictures of it. i hope all is fine. Good luck.

This is the incubator I used. The air circulates in the incubator. The humidity I just increased from 60 to 70 sometimes 75 and temperature is 37.5 Celsius as it says to put the temperature at. I never turned them as I was told to keep them still in this incubator but now I'm worried for my life cause I put a lot of heart and soul into keeping this little guy. I use a digital humidity and temperature reader to make sure I have everything right. I am eager for this little guy to come out. But now I'm having a nightmare that he may not hatch

I am currently at work so I post pictures on here later when I get home however he's the only one as the others were not fertile or have died in the egg

usually you move them. But it seems that he’s grown this far then it is possible.

did you calibrate the therometer? It sounds like it could be slowed a little in development. What type of duck egg is it? Muscovy or mallard type?
A photo of the egg candled could be helpful, once you are able to!

I am not completely sure, I got the eggs from amazon and they were a mix so I have no idea I wish I knew! The temperature is at 37.5 Celsius and kept it that way; never toyed with the temperature

oh I see! Were they intended as eating eggs? I would assume mallard type.
