Mrs Fryzzle
Chirping
I have 3 eggs on Day 30. 2 externally pipped and 1 has not. This morning I have 1 external pip, 1 internal pip, and 1 no internal pip and the air cell did not get as big as the others'.... On day 29- I put a safety hole in each at apprx 24 hrs from seeing internal pippings, including the one with smaller ac- I thought I saw an internal pip at the time.
Egg A- Is chirping and rocking, ext pip brings relief!
Egg B- is moving very subtly at best. Was more active on day 28...
Egg C- was moving on day 27 and I believe on 28... I dont see motion or action on 29 ??
This one does not seem to be moving here on day 30. I m tempted to intervene?? If it is dead I cant kill it, but if I can expose its head or it's shrinkwrapped.... I can do something, no?
Any advice on any of these eggs (except maybe A) would be soooo helpful. This is my first time incubating, and with goose eggs.
Cozychick incubator- -I can get any temp and humidity needed, does well.
Temp at this time: 99.1-99.3
Humity at this time: 63%
(I have been reading/videos thru this process and there are so many conflicting humidity levels and when to have them! Some said- 80-90% and vents wide on day 26; others not until ext pip, keep at normal '30-40%' until lockdown...; but many suggested btw 50-60% as normal humidity- until lockdown, then at external pip go to 70%. ...) I went to btw 70-80% at Day 26-27, didn't count the safety hole as an external pip ( altho just read one that does!) lowered humidity closer to 60% to help air-cell a bit on egg C...
Now with external pip on egg A, I have a hot sponge and full water to get the humidity upward.
Have I shrinkwrapped my other eggs with all the fluctuations? Should I creat ext pip- intervene? If so, how?
