Day 7 candling Science lesson for kids~graphic pics added

Lisa,
I would be happy to scan their pictures into my computer tomorrow and post them here as well. If you would really like to see them.

It wasn't easy for me to open that egg. I was actually worried about what we would see, and felt a moment of shock when I saw the chick.

I am just sorry it was one of the frizzles from you

We are down to 3 frizzles now. The remaining three are swimming strong, despite I have had a few temp spikes

Thanks!

Ally, sounds like you had just as much fun doing and sharing this lesson with your little ones! Learning from mother nature is wonderful. Great job!!!

Wow!

I wish I did that in science class

Thats cool.

I've never seen anything out of a chicken egg that hasn't hatched, I just never have the stomach too.

I absolutely LOVE science and think that that was an excellent thing for you to do! I do this kind of stuff with our ds. He feels bad for the chick, but is in awe of how they grow. We always crack open any eggs that have died or are duds so that he can see why and the differnet stages of developement. Great experiment, mom!
