We have a duck that hatched early. She is unable to stand but both legs move. She also cant hold her head up. She opens her eyes and kinda scoots along. She will drink a bit and pecks at food a little. She wants to live you can tell. What can I do to help. He head seems to want to stay to the side but not staring at the ceiling like wry neck. She can hold it up for a second or two. Could it still be wry neck?

:welcome

For basics, keep her in a nice/warm/dry brooder, keep her out of water, If she is unstable set her in a donut-shaped towel for stability, add some poultry vitamin/electrolytes to her water, offer it to her often, some finely mashed scrambled eggs are great too. Hopefully with a little TLC she will perk up.

How many days ago did the duckling hatch?

Oops should have read the title I started at the thread. Sorry about that. Hopefully some rest will help a lot. If you have poultry Nutri drench you could try dribbling some straight along her bill. It’s great stuff for newly hatched ducklings. Or the poultry vitamins @Isaac 0 rec. Just make sure you have her upright so she doesn’t aspirate .
