Day old goslings

My day old goslings are trying to eat the pine shavings in the brooder I've put a towel down and they pick at that too, do I just leave them in the brooder on the plain bottom are they okay in the pine shavings or on the towel?

Make sure the towel hasn't any strings they can bite off and leave them on towels for about a week they can be shaken out and washed and reused. If your having nice warm weather take them outside and let them run around [with supervision] having something to do is very important for goslings or they will find something to do that might not be so good. Like eating shavings. Love to see some pictures.
