Day Old Silkie wierd leg

I have a silkie chick that hatched last night. It does not stand on one of it's legs. The leg just kind of sticks out to the side and it waddles around. What do I need to do for it?

I am trying the band aid splint. I hope it works. Now the little guy keeps falling over! Making the kids take turns watching over it.

I am having the same problem with one of mine that hatched this morning. it tries to walk but it's leg is kinda wierd. it's foot turns in to the side. so everytime it walks it falls over on his back. what do i do about it????

I did the band aid with the two legs together. It really hasn't made a difference. It just won't put it's leg down or put any weight on it. I am adding pictures to my original post. The chick is eating and drinking well. vitamins are in the water. Seems very healthy and hardy, just wont put any weight on that foot. What do I do now?
