DE at pool supply house?

I went to my local pool supply house to get a valve today, and I noticed they have DE. It didnt say food grade, but I figure if you can swim in it, it should be alright for the chickens, right?

Nope! Do NOT use that around chickens at all. You MUST have food grade. That is poison to chickens and is used for pool filters and bug killing.

Pool grade DE is used in the filter not actually swimming in it.

Over time this will kill your chickens. It is toxic.

Glad I didnt start slinging it at the chickens like a crazy man before asking yall. I almost bought it, too!
