Dang....does that mean I will have to go to vet school and specialize in ways to use botox on a rooster and find out some way to either silence him or quiet a roo ? You people are killing me!!!
But I would be highly paid!!! Hmmmmmmm. Anyone with me?
We would be world travelers and might have our own chicken jet!
Who said chickens can't fly!!
Ok I am rambling.....but I found this post and felt I needed to add my demented humor even though I can't help!
Oh yeah, my roos are kept in the garage at night they put themselves away. All I have to do is close the garage back door. If I forget, they remind me by yelling at me with a weird kinda crow. They roost there until I let them out in the AM, about 8. Weekends 9 30. It's true they don't crow when it's dark.....unless you have a prowler or predator trying to get in. They act just like if it were a dog in the garage and instead of barking they crow. When the threat is gone, they stop. I go out there and tell them it's ok calm down and go back to sleep. It's always worked for me. and I've had 2 sets of roos. Oh and they were raised that way. So I don't know if that makes a difference.
Good Luck!
