DE from Farm Home Center?!?

I got DE from a 'home made' type container with a 'home made' looking label. It is gray and very fine/soft. All that is on it are two little stickers, one say's Red Lake Earth, feed additive. Other say's Product of Canada.

I wanted to know if this stuff is the real DE and safe for people as well as pets?
It said food grade and all, but just the way it was all packaged makes me feel uneasy.
It's from the CFC Farm & Home Center.

It's the right kind. Read on the FAQ's on here about DE.

It does nothing for fleas and mixing it with water/food is hell...just doesn't happen...

I have 50lbs of the stuff and my cats sleep in the big bag and still have fleas. I am not impressed. It sounds like you got DE but they put it in smaller bags to sell.
