DE - I have no clue how much to add to bedding inside coop????

Our coop holds 4 chickens ( 6-7 weeks old) and is about 4 1/2 ' X 8 foot - maybe a little larger

How much DE should I be sprinkling for the deep litter method? We have about 3 inches or so of litter down.

Take a handful then throw it around. Keep throwing until everything has a nice light dusting. Toss a handful of scratch on top the litter and let the chickens do the turning for you.
