DE Kill Gypsy moth catapillars????

Does anyone know if DE kills these pesty catapillars??!!! They are infesting my baby coop...everyday. I have to go in and clean them out and the hens won't eat them!!! Are they poison for them?????

I recently started trapping and feeding the Gypsy Moth Caterpillar to my chickens and they devour them!! Are you sure that is what was infesting them? Just realized your post was a while ago, but am excited to have recently discovered a dual purpose food source. The Gypsy Moth is so devastating to our trees and chickens love the free protein source!
