I was at the feed store today and was asking if they had food grade DE since everyone here seems to recommend it. They showed me non-food grade that they sell for use on carpets, dogs and cats. They specified that it was not the stuff used in swimming pools (I never asked that question, they just volunteered the info). So my question is, can I use this in the coop and run, or is it still bad for chickens? Thanks.
