How much De am i supposed to sprinkle in the coop and run? CAn you put in to much?

Some people use a flour sifter and put a light coating on top then let the chickens work it in. When you detect an odor or see flies in the coop, put some more down. just be sure it is FOOD GRADE DE and you will be okay. Using common sense you wont put too much down. Only harmful if they breathe a lot of the dust. Put it down while they are out of the coop. Hope this helps!

I just fling! If it's white, it's about right. Then I tend to use the shuffle hoe to mix it in the litter.
