DE & Sweet PDZ question

I have read on here that some people use sweet PDZ to control the smell inside there coop. My question is DE the same thing as Sweet PDZ or something different but used in the same way?
How do you use them?

They are not the same.

Sweet PDZ is a drying agent, and is used to help control moisture and odor in stalls coops etc.

DE is for controlling insects. It will substitue for PDZ, but I think it is more expensive and will not do the job quite the same
