DE uses

How to I use DE? It is so fine that it's hard to spead it out evenly. I've heard water mixed but how much should be mixed. Any advices would he'll greatly

If you're talking about on shavings, I just sprinkle it out.. Kind of like powdered sugar on a funnel cake... If it's not even, it's not a big deal. The chickens will scratch it in.

If you're talking about on the food.. I just sprinkle a bit on the top when I fill the feeder up and it works it's way down in as they eat the food out.
