What is the correct term for DE? I need to know so I can get some for one of my hens who I think may have lice.

Diatomaceous Earth (Fossil Shell Flour) Food Grade. If one hen has lice most likely they all will have them, they all need to be treated.

If your local feed or garden store does not carry it, you can purchase it online. I use Stall Dry which is diatomaceous earth with clay mixed in.

I provided a link for buying online. Yes, 3 week olds can be dusted with DE, I've had to do it before. Use care around their eyes and beaks.
