Where do you purchase DE?
AND....how is it laid?

You buy food grade DE at the feed store. Some people find it online.

I use the giant Costco coffee cans to scoop and sprinkle DE in the nesting boxes, coop, and run.

Our semi local feed store and a franchise farm store both sell DE food grade. I sprinkle on the coop floor and on their roost. I reapply about every two weeks. It's dusty, so I wear a mask when cleaning the coop and applying the DE.

I bought my food grade DE at the local grain elevator. I use a flour sifter to dust my coup and nest boxes with the DE.

I also sprinkle DE in the run, the coop and the nest boxes. I used a washed out parmesan cheese container to sprinkle it.
