Dead baby chicks

I have a horriable favor to ask of all you chicken lovers. I recieved my baby chicks today in the mail and I have 8 dead ones. It is very sad. But... I have to call the hatchery and let them know what I lost and I have no idea on 7 of them. I ordered 14 dfferent varieties and I'm lost. I hate to post dead chick pics but if I did and a list of what they may be would you all be willing to help? I will throw this out tonight and if I don't get hate mail I will post the pics tomarrow. Thanks

It wouldn't be the first time someone posted pix like that and worse. Make sure you edit your title to state the thread has graphic pix of dead chicks so anyone who wants to avoid them can. Sorry I can't help with the ID.

I very much doubt you'll get hate mail -- but it was very sweet of you to ask. And I am so sorry so many of your chicks did not arrive alive. My condolences -- I know that was very hard.

I posted pictures of a chicken autopsy the other day when I needed to find out if my hen was an internal layer or egg bound.

I can handle it.

Why don't you just email the pics to the hatchery. They would be the experts at what you lost.
