When I came home from work I had 4 eggs hatch. 3 are doing well but one has died, he was much larger then the others. I have some still piping, do I open the incubator to take out the dead chick? Also humidity is 82%

Are you sure it is dead. If so open and remove. Then close. A few seconds will not affect the temp/humidity that much.

You should remove the chick id it's dead, yes. If you are hatching chicken eggs your humidity should be 55%-60%. At 82% you will drown the chicks.

I am not sure, but the posting reads as if the eggs are in lock down with high humidity.

During lock down I thought that 82% would be a good number . .
