Dead Chick

Hello everyone,
I'm asking for help... Last night I noticed that one chick from my batch of 6 was much more sleepy than the others.. The others are doing fine and the heat is perfect temperature for them. My chicks are 4 days old. The sleepy chick was not wanting to eat or drink, but I forced it to drink some water. I hoped the chick was just sleepy that day anf if i let it sleep it eould get better, but this morning I found it dead. I'm wondering why It died and If i should give anhthing to the rest of my cute birds so that they don't get sick too?

Sometimes chicks just randomly die.

I am sorry for the loss of such a tiny one.

It could be any number of things from failure to thrive to internal defect to shipping stress or other issues.

As long as the rest are eating, drinking, and being active I wouldn't worry to much.
