some one can tel lme if i could correct the problem and wha tthe problem was

mi tem was most of the time right at 100 and the humidity was 45 trough incubation and 60 on lockdown. im really sad that the only 2 that first pip are the only ones that i have here verry active... but at least i have them and not have any..

HAD JUST CALIBRATED MY HYGROMETER AND IT WAS READDING 35% MORE OF WHAT IT SAID !!

Sorry for your loss. You are stronger than I am. My hatch was only 25% but I did not open any unhatched eggs. Good for you for trying to find answers!

Yeah, I used to have this issue all the time, so this year I decided to drop the incubating humidity from 50% to 35%, and the lockdown humidity from 75% to 50%. I've only run across ONE dead, unhatched chick so far.

Sorry for your loss! I know exactly how you feel.

thank you guys but what its the reason?? can some one tell me i was verry exited because its my first time and im not sure if i wanan do it again as much as i love baby chicks as a baby i always saw my self hatching lots of babys and i wanted to make that come true but u all know how i feel now my friends want to bring me eggs from theyr flocks but im not sure what if they ended up like that again

Like I said, there's no telling the reason, but from my experience it would be too high of humidity.

Im not an expert, but I did more damage last year with high humidity than low. I am following Chookschick dry incubation method, this year. I found that I easily hit 35% humidity with NO water. Im guessing to much humidity.

it all seems to leed at high humidity Im trying to calibrate my Hygrometer now to see what i can come up to so far i have tryed 2 diferent ways of calibration and both were way off and so far by the results im getting when i tho i was at 60% during lockdown i REALLY WAS AT 95% !!! no wonder i had 1 inch of water in the whole bottom of my incubator

and during hatching i tho i was at 45% BUT I REALLY WAS AT 70%!!!
