Dead hen, no symptoms

Today we found a dead hen under the roost. Like she just fell off and died last night! Doesn't look like anything was wrong with her. No idea what happened. These are our first chickens, hatched them almost 3 months ago. Just want to be doing everything right and tough to not know what happened...

Unfortunately, without a necropsy/testing there is no way to know the cause of death.
Chickens can suddenly die from so many things. They are very good at hiding illness and injury. If you still have her body, you can send her to your state lab for testing, this may give you some answers.

A couple of questions - what type of food/treats do you feed, have you checked them over for any lice/mites and have you seen any unusual poop (bloody/mucousy, etc.).

They have dry starter/grower food all the time since they hatched. Just started giving that fermented most days as well.
Treats we throw in all kinds of things since we do deep litter method - grapes, watermelon rinds, banana peels, beans, potatoes, etc.

Sometimes they have heartattacks....They just drop dead....
