Dead pullet what could have happened images.

Well, we know it wasn't a fox they carry them away ! And most of the time foxes kill poultry in the spring when they are feeding the kits . Racoons on the other hand will kill all in the pen most of the time . I Maybe possum - O , Weasel , or Rat . Any tracks around ?

any idea what animal this could be ?

I had a fox that killed but didn't take the kill away but most often they do. I used one of the birds it killed as bait and eliminated it because it kept coming back and leaving me with dead birds. I had electric wires around the coops and pens but it dug under a gate which I have since put concrete under all of the gates. It was mangy and stinky.
