About a week ago, I noticed my hen was limping. She kept holding her leg up, but was still moving and eating. Then yesterday, I noticed she was just sitting with her head under her wing, but she was still eating.
Well today she is dead. We did give her a little polyvisol, but too late. SHould I get a necropsy? I have 3 other turkeys in with the chickens. I think she had stayed broody too long, until Nov. and did not gain the weight she needed for winter. I could not tell what was wrong with her let. My father died recently and I was preoccupied. I'm just sick because I hatched her. She was almost 2, and very broody.
Any ideas.
