Dear pea lovers, any ideas on a coop for sleeping at night?

I am planing to make a simple coop inside the garage, which is too big and full of danger ( nails on the wall, lightbulb fixtures, shovels, two bicycles). I want my peacock to be able to wall in at night I will lock him fir safety. I just want to know how to position perches for him to sleep and be able to turn around in there without falling through the perches to the bottom.
Also it us already inside garage, so safety is taken care of.
