Dearth of eggs?

Hey, have any other New England hens recently stopped laying? All four of mine seems to have gone on strike, even Beakie! Nothing has changed in their lives. I dont remember summer being a time of being eggless. Please advise.

How old are they? If they layed throughout the winter they are most likely taking a break in their laying cycle and preparing to molt.

Hi-Thanks! They are only 3 years old. They didn’t lay during the winter. My last batch of ladies were still laying into their teens. Guess what, Beakie gave me an egg today, best girl!
